What Peekami can do and what it can’t.
Video and audio, live
You see and hear what is happening in the nursery and can speak softly through the camera device.
Sound alerts
The camera device detects loud sounds locally and can notify you. You set the sensitivity; Peekami does not recognise crying as a separate category.
No account, no archive
Video and audio travel encrypted from device to device. Peekami keeps no video or audio archive and needs no email address.
You need two devices. One of them is probably in a drawer.
Install
Install Peekami on both devices. You don’t need an account or even an email address.
Pair
The camera device shows a code. Type it in on the other device or scan the QR code.
Set it down
Put the camera device where it can see the favourite spot. Plug in the charger, leave the app open. That’s it.

Does Peekami replace a baby monitor?
No. Peekami is not a baby monitor but an extra look: not an alarm system, not an emergency call or medical monitoring system and not a substitute for personal supervision. Video, audio and notifications can be delayed or fail. Check the connection regularly.
How do I place the device safely in the nursery?
Stably, out of the child’s reach and with a charging cable the child cannot get to. No devices or cables in or on the bed. Follow the device manufacturer’s instructions.
Do I get alerts at night too?
As long as Peekami is open on the camera device and the device is awake, it detects loud sounds. On iPhone, iPad and Android, alerts arrive even when the screen is locked, if you allow notifications; on Mac and Windows, while Peekami is running there.

Peekami is available for iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows. You pair using a shared code, and you decide which device films and which one watches.
