Notice loud sounds
The camera device detects loud sounds locally and can notify you, for example when your dog keeps barking. You set the sensitivity yourself.
Talk to your dog
Activate the microphone in the live view. Your voice comes out of the camera device’s speaker, for example to calm your dog down.
History instead of a video archive
You can see when there were sounds and how long they lasted. No clips, no video archive: only the type, time and duration of events are stored. A 30-day history is part of Peekami Plus.
You need two devices. One of them is probably in a drawer.
Install
Install Peekami on both devices. You don’t need an account or even an email address.
Pair
The camera device shows a code. Type it in on the other device or scan the QR code.
Set it down
Put the camera device where it can see the favourite spot. Plug in the charger, leave the app open. That’s it.

Where is the best place for the dog camera?
Where your dog spends most of their time: bed, sofa or front door. Place the device securely and out of your dog’s reach, facing the area, and plug it into a charger for longer periods.
Does Peekami detect barking automatically?
Peekami detects loud sounds directly on the camera device and can notify you. There is no dedicated bark detection or animal recognition; you set the sensitivity yourself.
Do I need Wi-Fi for the dog camera?
Both devices need an internet connection, via Wi-Fi or mobile data. At home the camera device usually stays on Wi-Fi; on the go you watch from your phone.
